Duchess Meghan once highlighted this line “I hate conflict and comparisons.”  to express her disdain for comparisons and no doubt she would  not have liked the comparison between hers and Princess Eugenie wedding given that the two women are so different. It has been reported that Princess Eugenie and Duchess Meghan get along pretty well so the comparison is just not proper.

The other royal wedding was said to be bigger and better than the Sussex wedding because in the words of the Duke of York they have more friends. Since we are all about numbers 100,000 people came out to Windsor to celebrate with the Duke & Duchess of Sussex (Harry and Meghan) compared to the empty streets for the wedding of Eugenie Princess of York. Thousands camped out on the streets for days in anticipation of the Sussex wedding. It became a global sensation with 2 billion people around the world tuning in live to witness the nuptials while only 3 million tuned into the York wedding.

To do damage control Sky News owned by hate mongers and Nazi sympathizers resorted to dog whistle tactics describing the Sussex wedding as bonkers and the York wedding as classy. The Sussex marriage ceremony was happy, uplifting and jubilant and filled with prayers and well wishes and more important it was what they wanted. The crowds broke into cheers and celebration could be heard because in Meghan’s culture there is no such thing as silent jubilation.
