The Duke of Sussex known as Prince Harry has been in the empowerment business for a long time as well. Together they are known as the Duke and Duchess of Empowerment.

Duchess Meghan was the Editor in chief of her lifestyle blog The Tig. Young people went to The Tig to learn.  Duchess Meghan continues to promote those values in her royal life. As a social entrepreneur; the Duchess of Sussex on The Tig promoted local Moroccan businesses. She encouraged her audience to Visit Al Nour   a cooperative that employs, trains and supports disabled female artisans in Marrakech. This shop in the Medina sold amazing hand embroidered silks and linens.

Before she was the Duchess of Sussex the former Meghan Markle was more than an actress she had business endeavors. She worked as a Today Show fashion contributor, the Today show is a popular morning show in the United States. As entrepreneur the Duchess of Sussex created a capsule with Canadian brand Reitman’s’ which sold out numerous times due to her popularity. In addition to that the Duchess was a Ralph Lauren brand ambassador.

The Duchess of Sussex does not just talk the talk when it comes to entrepreneurship she walks the walk as well. When the Duchess of Sussex visited Fiji in 2018 the Duchess visited entrepreneurs at a local market. The Duchess of Sussex supported a female business when she bought a purse from a local vendor.  Her support for local businesses is unwavering.
