British Media & the gender gap in business leadership

The British media is responsible for poverty programming in the country. They pedal the most anti- wealth propaganda out there. The relentless bullying of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex former UN advocate for women in economic and political leadership is just one example. Young girls seeing how Duchess Meghan is constantly vilified shy away from problem solving; starting businesses and taking positions of leadership.

A media personality even claimed that the British royal family is offended by the Duchess of Sussex’s Can Do Attitude and work ethic. Deriding success is a sure ingredient for creating poverty.  One cannot achieve success as an entrepreneur without a CAN DO ATTITUDE and work ethic.

Reports by royal reporter Emily Andrews  claiming that the British royal family is  offended and upset by hard work and great work ethic make the British royal family look silly and out of touch. This is a PR disaster for the British royal family because wealth is created through entrepreneurship.  Right now Britain is talking about being the next Singapore. Singapore was built with a strong work ethic and can do attitude. If the British royals are offended by wealth they are a contradiction because the Queen owns the most real estate in the world.

Young women need to see themselves represented in positions of power both in the boardroom and in government leadership roles. When Meghan Duchess of Sussex promoted emerging commonwealth designers in the September issue of British Vogue the British media went berserk. The media claimed that promoting commonwealth designers was offensive to Royal family. The Queen’s commonwealth Trust champions, funds and connects young leaders who are working hard to change the world. This mission contradicts the poverty programming of Emily Andrews and the royal reporters.

The constant nit picking and the palace’s lack of defense when it comes to Duchess Meghan sends a message to young women that they do not matter.

When Meghan the Duchess of Sussex visited University of London she was met with crowds of hundreds of people lined up to greet her. Young college educated people respect Duchess Meghan and her advocacy for education and leadership. They understand that success comes from a can do attitude and great work ethic. They recognize that Duchess Meghan is a role model.
