Star power,there are those like Meghan Harry and Diana who have it. And those who do not like Charles and William. Harry believes that if his mother had met Meghan, they would have been thick as thieves  meaning incredibly good friends. Diana and Meghan have similar experiences in the royal family. Both women had their success used against them. Their popularity influence and impact in 1983 and 2018 in Australia created jealousy in Charles and William respectively.

Both Princess Diana and Princess Meghan were greeted with  exuberant crowds. Everywhere they went, regardless of the city or location, they were photographed greeting adoring fans ranging from toddlers to the elderly.

The reality is that Diana and Meghan have a genuine down to earth humanitarian nature which is so relatable. It’s called connection not attention seeking.  Meghan is smart, beautiful, compassionate, original, and very very likeable just like Diana this is what gives them their influence.

People waited hours upon hours just to get a quick glimpse of the couples, in both 1983 and 2018. On a trip to Victoria on Thursday, well-wishers started assembling as early as 5am to get a glimpse.

Prince Charles was jealous and resentful of the attention Princess Diana got. Charles and William are attention seekers; they employ hundreds of PR agents. Their conundrum is just that there is no market for their dull boring personas.

The announcement of baby Sussex coming in the spring sent the interest in Meghan and Harry to a whole new level. The Australians were honored that the young royals have chosen to share the good news with them first. Interest in the monarchy surged because of Meghan and Harry. Princess Diana met with life guards at Bondi Beach. The Sussexs used Bondi Beach trip to highlight mental wellness. Their visit to Bondi endeared this down to earth couple. There were no endless useless royal protocols just human beings connecting with each other and encouraging mental wellness.

Prince Harry and Princess Meghan actually got to hang out with Rubi, a mother koala whose children were named in honour of the recently married couple. Australia is filled with such unique wildlife and it was important for the princesses to take some time out of their busy schedules to get a true taste of what the continent has to offer.

Gifts, gifts, and more gifts

Whenever they passed by, people thrust little envelopes or boxes towards them. At the end of both Princess Diana and Princess Meghan’s trip, they had piles of presents needing extra luggage to take them back home. The gifts included letters, drawings, flowers, and other delicate items that people found worthy enough to give to the Royals. No one was asked to bring anything, but the majority seemed to do so from the kindness of their hearts due to pure love and appreciation of the princesses.

After the successful tour, the tabloids published 79 negative articles about Duchess Meghan daily. This was all while she was carrying his brother’s child.
