#HarryAndMeghan Show in Leadership Courage Matters Not Titles

My faith is greater than any fear in my heart.

Duchess of Sussex the former Meghan Markle

Meghan and Harry did not just want the title of Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom, they wanted to serve as well. The two lovebirds were excited about using their platform to serve and but the responsibility as well. The British royals preferred a slimmed down monarchy so the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to America. In the midst of the global pandemic and subsequently the racial uprisings Harry and Meghan know that people and organisations are struggling. They have stepped up to own their power to lead.

Leadership is about influencing others to make an impact. Leadership is not about having titles such as HRH and being revered or worshiped. It is about serving and using your voice to make a difference. In Britain and across the Commonwealth the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were known for inspiring meaningful solutions. Meghan and Harry heard of the story of Althea Bernstein; the victim of a hate crime in Wisconsin they reached out to offer kind words and support. Harry and Meghan reached out to the CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County. They have shown that they have the emotional intelligence to lead.

Meghan and Harry believe in problem solving building digital ecosystems of community building of wellness. Telling Althea to take care of her mental health by staying away from social media and negativity. Meghan and Harry make a connection with young people whether with the charity Street Games, Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and the youth on all their tours. Meghan has shown that they ascribe to the leadership model of creating leaders. They will be empowering the youth, doing a virtual town hall with the youth at the Boys and Girls.

The royal reporter Nigel Cawthorne tells us that leader of the Commonwealth is powerless to defend the Duchess of Sussex when she was attacked by white supremacists in Britain and her child called a monkey. This begs the question across the Commonwealth if he is that powerless to defend his own family how can he be trusted to defend the Commonwealth? Where will he get the power from? If the Commonwealth cannot provide equality and protect black people what then is the point of the Commonwealth?

Duchess Meghan is an inspiration; role model and mentor to action-oriented leaders who have track record of making an impact in a positive way. Therefore, we support her and all organisations promoting leaders who solve problems and make things happen. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited Homeboy Industries which is in the business of second chances.

Meghan has a connection to Father Doyle who set up Homeboy Industries the program of business of second chances. Meghan knew Father Doyle through Immaculate Heart her high school. It is a space for clients to heal from inter-generational cycles of violence in a community of radical compassion. Homeboy Industries is the largest rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world.

Meghan and her mother Doria Ragland once attended a cooking class at Homeboy Industries where they learned to make tamales. Doria has an extensive philanthropic work history. She is very influential in Meghan’s humanitarian work prior to royal life.

They are both down to earth and kind. The staff was honored they took the time to see us, hear us and walk on our journey today. We will never forget it.

Meghan and Harry are impact investors. Impact investments are investments made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social impact. This is the new model for engagement. Harry and Meghan are courageous leaders. Standing up against racists is dangerous. They have received numerous death threats, but they remain undeterred and use their influence for good.

They have made a connection not just to British communities but to American communities now in desperate need of leaders to take a position. Meghan and Harry are working to stop the hate and build bridges. Meghan herself was subjected to racist attacks in Britain. Meghanpedia has documented the gender violence against Duchess Meghan the former Meghan Markle.  British female members of parliament had to write a letter of support of the Duchess while the royals stood silent. Gender violence is a real issue for female leaders in Britain. It would be so nice for the heirs to the United Kingdom to take a position and advocate to stop racism and gender violence against people of colour.

But the British Royals do not have any faith in their dense brains, instead they have a lot of fear of not being loved or not being popular & reverenced.

Great artile. I like how you highlighted their efforts for impactful leadership and social justice. Ony leaving the UK and royal family could make it possible for them to use their platgorm as they aspired to.

Charles is a coward and so is William. Who respects a leader who fears the scum of the earth tabloids? In ancient times these two would never sit on the throne because leadership is about courage.
