• Duchess of Sussex’s cookbook sold 130,000 copies to make £557,638 for Grenfell Hubb community kitchen
• £204,031 was invested on refurbishing the kitchen
• Serves 300 meals a day, 7 days a week, 109,500 meals a year to retirement communities, homeless shelters & domestic abuse survivors.
• Hubb Community Kitchen has global influence with contributors from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.
• £28,520 was reinvested on empowering the women through training and gaining 23 certifications in Food Safety & Hygiene obtained by Grenfell community volunteers.
• Through empowerment, the ladies have been inspired a hand held as they have embarked on their own projects:

1. A project to combat domestic violence.
2. A project to deliver food to women on maternity wards.
3. A project to produce healthy snacks for children.

SmartWorks

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is patron of Smart Works. Most non profit organizations are consumed with raising revenue to keep the doors open and fulfill the mission of the organization. Clients receive one-on-one interview preparation and an outfit to help them secure employment. She created a capsule collection with 4 retailers and designer Misha Nonoo to raise funds for SmartWorks to enable them to help more women across the UK.

• The first release of the Smart Set Tote sold out online in pre-selling before the official launch.
• Sold 10,000 items in 2 weeks.
• Marks & Spencer Shares rose as much as 1.8% early Thursday in London after news of the partnership with Duchess of Sussex.

Economy

Princess Diana’s was a determined defender to the voiceless. Her presence shed a spotlight on the forgotten people in society. The people in Angola who lived in landmine infested lands. Diana shed light on issues such as homelessness that people in Britain wanted to sweep under the rug. Meghan for her part used her platform to empower the forgotten people in the UK. After countless thoughts and prayers from politicians and other royals Meghan was the first leader to put a plan in action for the women of Grenfell tower. They were described as victims and after working with Duchess Meghan they were empowered to become Amazon best selling authors who fed 109,500 people in a year.
