The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle known for her compassion and kindness towards the forgotten people in the United Kingdom donated to Migrateful. Migrateful charity seeks to provide economic empowerment through jobs and entrepreneurship.

 Created an Asset: The Together Cookbook

The Duchess of Sussex believes in creating an asset to fund her philanthropic work.  As an entrepreneur Meghan Markle learned how to monetize her work. Its important to remember that charities operate on money. The funding fuels their growth and enables them to help more people. Meghan Markle came up with the idea of the Together cookbook to fund the Hubb Community Kitchen. Maintaining Creative Rights allowed profits from this book to be used specifically for Sussex causes so that Royal Foundation could not redirect them.

The Duchess of Sussex was able to bring together women from 12 different countries who enjoyed cooking together for life and joy.

• More than 50 recipes from women, whose community was affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
• New York Times Best Seller; has sold more than 130, 000 copies in first year.
• Won an André Simon Award. The book received a Special Commendation which showcases the best of contemporary food and drink writing in UK for past 40 years.

Impact of Together Cookbook:

• Duchess of Sussex’s cookbook sold 130,000 in year it was launched copies to make £557,638 for Grenfell Hubb community kitchen
• £204,031 was invested on refurbishing the kitchen
• Serves 300 meals a day, 7 days a week, 109,500 meals a year to retirement communities, homeless shelters & domestic abuse survivors.
• Global Influence Hubb Community Kitchen contributors from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean.
• £28,520 was reinvested on empowering the women through training and gaining 23 certifications in Food Safety & Hygiene obtained by Grenfell community volunteers.

Creating Leaders

Through empowerment, the ladies have been inspired to lift themselves and others as they climb and embarked on their own projects. After all leaders create leaders and not more followers.
