Prince Harry’s #1 Supporter Duchess Meghan

Not since Diana has anyone been in Prince Harry’s corner the way Duchess Meghan has. She is Team Harry all the way and saw the best in him and supports him in the causes that are important to him.

It was really one of the first things we connected on, it was one of the first things we started talking about when we met was just the different things that we wanted to do in the world and how passionate we were about seeing change. I think that was, that’s what got date two in the books probably.

It was her birthday the year in that she turned 33 she encouraged her audience to do something good for someone else on their birthday. The Duchess of Sussex practices what she preaches because here she is working with her now husband on his passion saving wildlife on the occasion of her birthday.

So you know, the fact that I fell, the fact that I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly was a sort of confirmation to me that everything, all the stars were aligned. Everything was just perfect. It was this beautiful woman just sort of that — she tripped and fell into my life; I fell into her life.

As president of @africanparksnetwork, The Duke of Sussex continues to advocate for the communities and wildlife that coexist in some of the most vulnerable environments around the world.

Be it human wildlife conflict or natural disasters, these communities (park rangers, school children, families) are on the frontline of conservation and we must do more to help them as we also work to safeguard the animals and landscapes that are in critical danger.

A few recent photos that look back on:

Prince Harry’s long time commitment to this cause as well as a glimpse into the work he and The Duchess of Sussex did in 2017.

Their Royal Highnesses travelled to Botswana to assist Dr. Mike Chase of Elephants Without Borders in equipping a bull elephant with a satellite collar.

Approximately 100 elephants are poached/killed every day for their ivory tusks.

Using satellite technology allows conservationists to track their critical migratory patterns and to protect them and the local communities from human wildlife conflict.

The elephant pictured was sedated for just 10 minutes before he was up and back with his herd. Tracking his movements has allowed conservationists to better protect him and other elephants and ensure heightened protection for these beautiful creatures moving forward.

It’s an added member of the family. It’s another team player as part of the bigger team and you know for all of us, what we want to do is be able to carry out the right engagements, carry out our work and try and encourage others in the younger generation to be able to see the world in the correct sense rather than perhaps being just having a distorted view.
The fact that she, I know that the fact that she’ll be really unbelievably good at the job part of it as well is almost is a huge relief to me because she’ll be able to deal with everything else that comes with it. But, no, we’re a fantastic team. We know we are. And, we hope to over time try and have as much impact for all the things that we care about as much as possible.
