So proud to be part of the community builders known as the Sussex Squad. The #Sussexsquad is a global movement #Forcesforchange. The Sussex squad puts community at the center of all our interaction. Inspired by the leadership and example of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex because leaders create leaders we support charities and change makers. The Squad has been inspired and empowered to go back into our communities to make a positive difference.

We stand against bullies and trolls. Do not mistake our meekness for weakness. We challenge false narratives with receipts. Our receipts create an environment truth resulting in peace and kindness in the world.

We believe that we are the change we want to see in the world. We are bound by mutual respect with the goal of a unified future that spearheads progress, sustainability and optimism. We believe in strength and action.

#Sussexsquad Global Impact

• Supporters from 72 countries participated in #GlobalSussexBabyShower in 2019
• The Lunch Box Fund received over $30,000 in contributions from donors in 14 countries across the globe in honor of #GlobalSussexBabyShower
• CAMFED received over $27,634 in contributions from global donors in honor of #GlobalSussexBabyShower. Impact: 118 girls can go to high school for 1 year.

• TOTAL raised for #GlobalSussexBabyShower was over $100,000
• Baby2Baby received more than 5,000 products to disperse to children in need
• Using the Amazon registry, Sussex supporters donated 2,014 toothbrushes 80 bottles of shampoo to Baby2Baby.

• Inspired by Prince Harry’s passion for the environment #SussexGreatForest organizers from 12 different countries collaborated and coordinated the drive to plant over 115,000 trees to celebrate Archie’s 1^st birthday!!!!
• The Gopie School in Malawi planted 400 trees in the Sussex Great Forest

• Woods Ravines Farm planted 530 trees in #SussexGreatForest in a once abandoned farm in upstate New York, the largest grove planted known as #ArchiesWoods.

• Fundraising for  #ArchieDay, resulted in $60,000 raised for charities such as the South African–based organization Nourish, The Boys and Girls Club of Canada; Children’s Aid in the United States and Well Child in UK.

Hashtags are not enough. We have a responsibility as well that if you’re part of social media and engaging in that way we’re not just giving people more things to chat about but actually something to do and what’s the action?
