The prevailing thought regarding the African continent to date remains, one of the most undeveloped habitable continents on earth. It is this prevailing attitude that causes many to see Africa as a continent in search of a hand out and not a hand up. The hardship and discomfort for the inhabitants of the African continent has turned the continent into a charity case.
Prince Harry’s family which is a direct beneficiary of colonialism has in recent years tried to provide a climate to African voices. Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are both humanitarians who partner with local governments to help local communities across the Commonwealth and in Africa in particular. I have just finished reading all of your posts regarding The Sussexes. Although I have a very good knowledge about all things Meghan , I was truly enthralled by your attention to detail and extensive repertoire of Duchess Meghan. Her life story from age eleven to present day should be required reading for all those little girls who dream big and want to make a positive impact on the lives of the people in their community who need a helping hand.
I don’t care about her hair, clothes or shoes, those are simply material things. I am impressed by her warmth, her compassion, her relatability, her actions behind closed doors that create this powerful and lasting ripple effect that transform lives. That is the Meghan I adore.
