Meghan Markle’s new Spotify-exclusive podcast, “Archetypes,” surpassed regular chart-topper “The Joe Rogan Experience” dethroning him from Spotify’s list of most-listened-to podcasts in seven countries, including the U.S. and the United Kingdom.

Archetypes” was conceived as an outlet for Meghan to explore the stereotypes surrounding women of all ages through “uncensored conversations with women who know all too well how these typecasts shape narratives.

Meghan is winning because honestly the  3 words that describe #ArchetypesOnSpotify as unapologetically powerful, aspirational and absolutely thought provoking. Thank you, Duchess, for reminding us that we can be ourselves and never have to apologize for being the best at our craft!

Meghan is gorgeous, smart, mixed race, tanned with long black hair and American.  Meghan is confident and has that American can do attitude driven by ambition and self-optimization. This is not the picture of the princess they had in mind. As a self-made millionaire, celebrity and global influence in her own right before marrying Harry meant that Meghan acquired more power including public visibility and wealth. They are the ultimate power couple.

This idea of power of a woman of color acquiring power and influence did not sit well with the British royals and their royal Rota. They felt that Meghan needed to be taken down so that the archetype of a princess would not be a global leading woman of color married to a beloved British prince.

Most people in the world are sophisticated and wanted to hear Meghan in her own words. Meghan’s work has garnered recognition and when she speaks people are listening. 19 million in the first week and continues to grow every week. What a remarkable achievement is a mixed-race woman of African heritage. She occupies the most rarefied spaces. She knows her position is powerful and uses her voice to build better communities.

Meghan has a global media voice now and this make the fuddy duddy palace very uncomfortable. They did not want her to work for them and she gladly took her incredible self and has excelled because leadership is influence.

Since leaving the palace Meghan has expanded her family. She is a full-time mom who enjoys cooking for her family. Motherhood is her number one priority as well as authoring a Book The Bench which became a NY Times and Amazon Bestseller.

The Duchess once owned her own social media platform a lifestyle blog named The TIG. Her global social media following surpassed that of Kensington royal before she joined them. Meghan had a global voice before she married Harry and it is growing because she has a important things to add to global conversations. The world is listening, now that is influence.
