In 2014 Meghan told Brew Magazine that one of her top ambitions was to be a mom. “I dream to be a mom with wee ones running around my house.” Clearly motherhood has always been a priority for the humanitarian turned princess.

Meghan, Harry, Archie, and Lili Diana are the new Fab Four. The Duke and Duchess announced they were expecting their second child on Valentine’s Day with a stunning black and white portrait. It was captured by photographer Misan Harriman and taken in the couple’s Montecito, California backyard.

They purposely shared the news on the holiday to honor Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, who announced her pregnancy with Harry on the same day three decades prior. Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan Markle wants their children to find their purpose and to live a life of purpose. Grandma Doria will share the same traditions which she shared with Meghan her flower.

Lili is named after her great-grandmother, the Queen, whose family call her Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales.

In an interview with Today Show’s Hoda Kotb Prince Harry was asked what he liked about fatherhood. All of it.

I love it. “I love every part of it. I’ve always wanted to be a dad. I have always wanted to have my own kids, and now I got two little people who I’m responsible for.

Being a father means a lot to Prince Harry. Here is a guy who is trying to protect his cub and his lioness from whatever it takes. Prince Harry the only man in the history of the Windsors to fight to protect his family.

Prince Harry and Meghan are breaking generational toxic behavior. One day Archie and Lili Diana will read and hear of the sacrifice that their father made so they could have a better life. They will know he did his best to do right by them and they will thank God for having a father  and mother who loves them that much.

Meghan told Vaxlive audience that she and husband Prince Harry were thrilled about having a daughter. And young women and girls around the globe must be given the ability and support to lead us forward.

In true Sussex tradition  Lili Diana’s birth was celebrated with service and her parents asked that  gifts, be sent to  to these organizations working for women and girls: Girls Inc.,  Harvest Home, or Myna Mahila Foundation. Lili Diana has shown that service is universal, and she has made a positive impact in communities.

Being a mom has enabled Meghan to partner with the National Business Coalition for Child Care. The Marshall Plan for Moms is a movement to center mothers in the country’s economic recovery by advocating for policies that support moms.

Because it takes a village to raise a child, childcare isn’t just a community imperative-it’s a business imperative. Creating a stronger workforce starts with meeting the needs of families.
