Rather than ask for donation, Elephants Without Borders (EWB) created a documentary to educate the general population about the importance of elephants and the challenges they are facing. Change ruffles feathers and so Elephants Without Borders found an innovative way of generating awareness and drawing people to the cause and Duchess Meghan is championing that cause. The long-term goal is run rallying new patrons to their cause.

Conservation Champion

Every charitable cause that Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex works on is purpose driven. For here charity is more than just showing up to cut ribbons. She is on a mission to empower her charities and patronages. The former Meghan Markle is using her platform to reach others and promote conservation.Meghan believes in conservation and partnering with Elephants Without Borders was a natural fit.

Origins of collaboration

Meghan recorded the voiceover for the film in London in autumn 2019. Meghan met the filmmakers in Botswana in 2016 and had watched some of their footage over the years. They later approached her about the role “knowing her passion for the subject and the footage according to the film’s press release. Meghan and Harry have been advocates for Elephants Without Borders and the conservation of the animals.

When Meghan agreed to narrate the documentary ElephantOnDisneyPlus she wanted to make an impact. This story provides insight into the life of elephants and the importance of the conservation work that is done by organizations like Elephants Without Borders.

Former Meghan Markle brings global audience

Duchess Meghan believes in conservation and introduces the story of elephants to a young generation. Through #ElephantOnDisneyPlus she manages to introduce these magnificent animals and their environment to a new audience. This is huge for organizations like Elephants Without Borders. Awareness helps charities such as EWB gain financial support for conservation efforts.

New audiences are being introduced to the life of elephants and the dangers that they overcome as they seek water and food due to changes in the season. The connections that the birds have to the elephants and the importance of all creatures in the ecosystem, are highlighted. Meghan the Duchess of Sussex donated her narration compensation to Elephant Without Border to promote conservation. Her firsthand experience in Botswana shows her taking care of elephant. Meghan moves beyond photo-ops & symbolism donating her #ElephantOnDisneyPlus fee to EWB. Going beyond inspiration making an impact.. Creating environmental and financial sustainability. This is success, going beyond inspiration to impact.

Metrics that Matter

The success of #ElephantOnDisneyPlus is not the rating on Rotten Tomatoes but the views that are generated by viewers streaming. Success for EWB is number of new people supporting elephants and conservation efforts. Success for Duchess Meghan is knowing that she has used her platform to preserve the Okavango Delta and save elephants lives for future generations.

Meghan Markle knows that it is important to make an impact is built to last. Her proven track record of results speaks for itself. She changed the Grenfell community with Together Cookbook selling 130,000 copies raising £557,638 financing 300 meals a day for homeless shelters & senior citizens in UK.

Duchess Meghan in her work is not trying to please critics. That is a losing strategy. She is simply trying to raise awareness for her conservation. The more people view the documentary means that they are educated to the challenges of that elephants’ face in the Kalahari Desert and the Okavango Delta. The audience develops passion and connect and grow. and help the nonprofit gain volunteers and raise funds. Creating environmental and financial sustainability for the charity and local communities in Africa. This is success, going beyond inspiration to impact.
