During the celebration of Commonwealth Day on March 11, 2019 Duchess Meghan & Duke Harry attended an event at the Canadian High Commission to showcase the work that Canadians are doing in the U.K.
They were greeted with cheers and flags waving in excitement. Canada is after all the Duchess’ second home. in her usual diplomatic fashion diplomacy opting for a Canadian designer Erdem.

Duchess Meghan wore a beautiful deep green coat by the Turkish-Canadian designer Erdem. The green coat had black floral beaded rose embroidery known as “Doria . A definite nod to the Duchess’ beloved mother whom she credits as raising her as a global citizen.
