Meghan & Michelle Celebrating Motherhood & Work life Balance

The #ForcesForChange edition of September British Vogue Meghan Duchess of Sussex interviewed former US First lady and best selling author Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama sold over 11 million copies of her memoir “Becoming”. It was so refreshing to read these powerful women celebrating motherhood. The Princeton and Harvard educated lawyer described herself as mom-in-chief. This is so significant because Michelle Obama defines herself as a mother first because children are one’s biggest legacy.

Meghan like Michelle could never have dreamt that they would be one of the most powerful women in the world. In Michelle Meghan has a confidante and mentor and friend. She learns about raising successful children in the public eye. Which is no easy task. Michelle was once bullied by racist toxic white supremacist media in the US and can help Meghan deal with the architects of white supremacy in British media. Meghan met Michelle through her husband Prince Harry who has become personal friends with the Obamas.

Traveling with Archie on tour of Africa in 2019 was not easy. Archie made history as the youngest royal ever to go on tour at just 4 months old.

We’re only five months right now… Being a working mom and traveling as well with a baby, my goodness – it’s a lot, but it’s all so exciting.
